Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours

Word gets around about Spirit of the Swamp’s fantastic airboat rides and personal service.  Around the pool today at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista Eddie and his family were talking about the awesome airboat tour they had yesterday, and then some Elizabeth and her family called to make a reservation for later this week.

Last week, at a business conference at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, we had a call from a family from Utah to book an airboat ride.  Jeff and his family had so much fun they told Mike who booked a trip for his family, and then Mike told Stan and he booked a trip!  All from the same business conference… see how word gets around?

My favorite “pass it on” story was a family group from Washington who were in line at Walt Disney World talking about their airboat tour – they struck up a conversation with another family from the UK and they called to book an airboat ride.

Word gets around… even while our passengers are still on vacation in the Orlando and Kissimmee area!  Make sure to book your airboat tour early in your vacation so you can pass along your exciting adventures as an swamp “expert” to other Florida vacationers!

Today was another fantastic airboat day on the water!  Demetre was one of our airboat ride passengers today – he’s visiting Florida from France, along with Ben and Greg.  Demetre told us that the airboat tour was more than he ever imagined  – it was hard to put into words, but he told us he felt as though he was in a movie or as if he crawled into his TV.  He was amazed to see all of the beautiful marshes and swamps and the animals that make it their home… including, of course, the Florida Alligator.

Demetre and Greg snapped so many pictures – I have no idea how many photos they took between the two of them!   Definitely they beat our record of 293 pictures, and I’ll post them to our photo gallery page in the next week or so.   

“It’s so beautiful it almost looks fake” was a comment made by one of our airboat tour passengers today as we stopped to take their picture in the swamp (with their camera of course, we’re not a tourist trap who takes a picture to sell you a photo – we use YOUR camera).   Cory and Jenny are from upstate New York and they said that their airboat ride today was “so much more than we expected” – we hear that a lot!

As we stopped the boat in front of some beautiful cypress trees, Cory wanted to take a photo of us and Jenny, and as he was taking the picture, he stopped and said “wait a minute; it’s so beautiful here it almost looks fake – like something you would see at a theme park”.  Nope, it’s real – all of it, that’s why we say we’re the real deal.  Breathtaking Florida, stunning scenery, amazing wildlife and more can all be found on your airboat ride.  And it’s all just a short ride from the Orlando and Kissimmee resort areas!
