Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours

Spirit of the Swamp operates a beautiful state-of-the-art 8 passenger Panther Airboat. And yes, this is the actual airboat you will be riding in. We only mention this to you to point out that many other airboat web sites may feature 6 passenger private airboat photos but when you arrive for your tour they will put you on a large impersonal 20 passenger “pontoon type” airboat. Our airboat has the latest technology, including 24 powerful counter rotating blades, a 8100 Chevy V-8 Racing Engine, voice activated talk-around headsets, global positioning navigation, and XM radio with CD player.

Captain Harold holds a Master Captain’s  license from the United States Coast Guard and pilots the airboat for Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours. Captain Harold was previously a Merchant Mariner, working on the Mississippi River and Intercoastal Waterways. He is an avid outdoorsman and is knowledgeable in all aspects of life in the swamps and the great outdoors.
