This Airboat Ride Was the Best Part of Our Vacation!

Do you get tired of reading our Trip Advisor 5-star ratings?  We sure don’t!  In fact, we LOVE to share them with you…

My family and I had a great experience with Captain Harold.  He delivered an excellent, professional tour that was full of excitement.  Very personable airboat tour.  Harold went out of his way to make my kids have an awesome time.  We found baby crocodiles and several other experiences that you would never have seen on one of those other group tours.  Thanks Captain Harold - we will be back again!

Fun Time of Year to Take an Airboat Ride - Baby Gators are Hatching!

This is a fun time of year to take an airboat ride – baby gators have begun to hatch and emerge from their nests!  They’re so tiny, about 6-8 inches in length and they almost look like little snakes because they are striped in color when they’re newborn.

But… they are very vulnerable when they’re this small.  Instead of being on the top of the food chain like an adult alligator, they’re on the bottom when born.  Baby gators are eaten by all types of birds, fish, raccoons, you name it.  Mama gator can only do so much to protect her young ones!  In fact the survival rate for baby gators is only about 20%.

This is the time of year for alligator hatchlings – so give us a call and let’s see if we can find some in the wild!
