Great Customer Service! Fantastic Web Site!

Dwayne and his wife took an airboat ride with us today… they’re in Central Florida for the Daytona races.   Race fans love our airboat!  Dwayne’s told us that he’d researched a lot of other airboat companies before choosing Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides.  He loved our web site, said it was easy to navigate and our prices were clear and easy to understand.

We’re not one of those “other” airboat companies who pump up our prices and then give discounts.  We’re the real deal even on our pricing… we give you the lowest price and the best value out there!  He also appreciated our customer service.  We called Dwayne earlier in the week when it looked like it might be raining on his reservation time.  We called the night before and gave him the option to change the date and time – we want the ride to be perfect and don’t want to disrupt vacation plans!

So yes we’re different in so many ways.  We are the real deal and we care about giving our customers the best airboat experience possible!

Bring on the Ponchos!

Another rainy day in beautiful sunny Florida!  What can we say?  The weather just isn’t cooperating… but we do have rain ponchos on the airboat!  And there’s never any charge for a weather related cancellation.  But when the passengers want to take their airboat tour in a drizzle, we’re up for it!  Which is what happened again today – rain, bring on the ponchos.  But amazingly, Deborah and her family still had a good time and we did see alligators!  We’re keeping our fingers crossed for tomorrow…

A Little Rain… and Lots of Airboat Fun!

The forecast for today called for rain mid-day, so we started our day with an 8am airboat ride.  Iona and Richard we excited about the trip, and told us they wouldn’t melt if we got a little wet.  The morning was absolutely beautiful – cool and sunny when we started out.  We were on our deep swamp “Florida Cracker” airboat tour for 2 hours, but about 20 minutes before we got ended the trip it started to rain!

No lightening was in the area so we quickly donned rain suits and headed back in a light drizzle.  Of course it DID stop raining on the way back to the boat ramp (as it usually does during the summertime).  Iona asked me to get her camera out of dry storage so that she could resume taking pictures – she was thrilled with the beautiful lighting!  Every day is different, and our passengers always seem to find a way to have fun!  Rain or not!
