Yes, We’re Very Thankful…

…thankful for the beautiful outdoor paradise that we get to enjoy every day and share with our airboat passengers.  Here are some photos of a few of the things we’re thankful for:

Baby Gator Photos

Baby Gators - Look Close!!

Baby Gators - Look Close!!

I took my camera out on the airboat yesterday… and first of all, let me say I REALLY wish I had a better camera. Aside from my lack of photography skills, I think this photo is clear enough for you to see the baby gators. Little striped critters? Looks like snakes with yellow stripes? That’s baby gators! They are difficult to photograph, squirming all over the place, little cuties. But I managed to get one, just one, clear picture, so here you go (look close).

And just to say I’m happy that the gators are coming back out on the bank to sun with this cooler weather, here’s a big boy I photographed yesterday:

Should Have Done the Longer Airboat Ride!

Yep, we got this comment from a group of passengers from the UK today.  We here this ALOT… “we should have scheduled the longer airboat ride”.   And we totally understand, if this is your first airboat ride, why you’d want to take an hour ride.

You probably even think that you may be bored or grow tired of riding on the airboat.  Which is so not true.  The time flies by, I assure you!  So much beauty skimming by - your eyes can barely register the beautiful outdoor sights!

Or perhaps you have someone in your group who isn’t really a “boat person”.  They’re expecting a typical boat ride… and airboat is like no other boat, I assure you!  It’s like gliding across your own personal water paradise.  No bumps, no splashes, no waves.

Our group from this morning will be back to see us again next year - and they’ll be taking the longer airboat ride.
