Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours

Well… actually it’s NOT!  It’s a record heat wave here in the Orlando/Kissimmee area.  High temps in the 90’s with not much relief in sight for the next several days… who turned on the heat?

But back to the holidays… yes, it’s nice to dream of cooler days and that beautiful Chamber of Commerce picture-perfect weather!  Which brings me to the holidays… we’ve already started to get calls and requests for airboat ride reservations for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.   It really is one of the absolute best times of year to ride on an airboat.

Are you planning a sunny Florida vacation over the holidays?  We definitely recommend making a reservation in advance – it’s one of our busiest times of the year!  Plan ahead a pick the perfect day and time for your exciting airboat ride while in Florida for the holidays!

Snow on an Airboat?

This must be the week for birthdays and airboat rides!  And to make it even better – we did an airboat ride last week for some passengers who were celebrating their grandson’s 17^th birthday… and they recommend us to another family from the UK for another birthday trip.

That’s right the birthday boy recommend the airboat ride to the birthday girl, how fun!  We get a lot of birthday celebration airboat rides… and plenty of other special occasions too!  Anniversary’s, honeymoons, girl’s weekends, you name it.

It was fantastic!  Air boats only need about six inches of water to move, so we were gliding over lily pads and other vegetation.   We saw snails, lots of birds, and even a little tiny alligator.
