We’re different.  Our passengers tell us everyday we’re better.  If they’ve had the short half hour commercial airboat ride previously, now they want the REAL DEAL.  They want a private boat that will cater to just their family.  They don’t want to wait in long lines.  They want a longer airboat tour.  And they definitely don’t want another tourist trap.  They want their airboat ride to on the best reviewed airboat company in Florida – Spirit of the Swamp!

 We’re told this on almost a daily basis – that Spirit of the Swamp is so much better than the “other” airboat companies they’ve taken a ride on… I’m sure  that if you’ve taken an airboat ride here in the Orlando or Kissimmee area before while on vacation, you know which company we’re talking about – the one that puts 20 people in one airboat and takes them for a short half hour ride.

 Honestly, we love meeting the most enjoyable people every day, what a great job!  Today we met another group of fun-loving folks – starting with Steve and Cheryl.  It was Steve’s birthday today, so they planned the airboat ride to celebrate.  They loved the private trip, just the two of them for two hours deep into the swamp.  Cheryl was enjoying the wildlife so much she told us it would be a “bonus” if she saw an alligator, which of course she did!

Then we had another great group on the airboat from Georgia… gotta love those Georgia folks, they sure know how to have a good time.  Lastly we had Kim and her family from Pennsylvania.  We got so close to a gator, I think Kim actually got splashed by him… and I know for sure that she almost jumped out of her seat. 

What a great job… what wonderful people we meet!!

New Airboat Ride Photos!

Chuck and his wife from Oregon took an airboat ride with us last Saturday!  We had a wonderful trip, and departing at 8:30am allowed us to find and view more wildlife… gators, herons, egrets, snail kites, woodstorks and much, much more!
