Thanks Again For a Great Airboat Ride!

Sometimes we have passengers who just LOVE to have fun… Jay and Linda sure did!  Jay sent me some photos from their airboat ride last week, so I thought I would share a few with you.  Here’s what Jay had to say:

Captain Harold and Debi,

Here are a few photos from our recent outing.  We had a great time.  We’re not photographers, but you can use any of them if you desire.

Thanks again for a great time!

Stunning Florida Nature Photography

Ron Lackore from Fairfield, California, took an airboat ride with us last week while at a conference in Lake Buena Vista.  He sent me some of his stunning photos and I wanted to share them with you.

First of all, this is my absolute all time favorite photo of the biggest cypress tree I’ve ever seen!  It can be found on the beautiful Dead River during our “FLORIDA CRACKER” airboat rides.  Can you believe the size of this tree?

Cypress Trees and Spanish Moss - See it on a Swamp Tour!

The beautiful Cypress Trees we see on our airboat rides always amazes our passengers.  These beautiful southern trees are draped with hanging Spanish moss gently blowing in the wind – making It seem as if you are magically transported to a prehistoric era.  In fact, some of our passengers tell us that these cypress heads and swamp bottoms make them feel as though they are in a scene from a scary movie!

Cypress tree roots grow upward and are called “knees”.  These Cypress knees provide stability to the trees in the muddy swampland.   We see these incredibility beautiful trees on all of our airboat rides.  My favorite Cypress head is found on the beautiful Dead River during our FLORIDA CRACKER airboat rides.  There is a cypress tree that has knees almost 5 feet high!  You won’t want to miss seeing this incredible sight.
