Best Airboat Tour in Florida

Thought we’d catch you up with some of our latest comments and 5 star reviews from Trip Advisor:

We had a fabulous time thanks to Captain Harold and Debi. We booked a 1.5 hour tour and ended up spending 2 hours out on the airboat. Saw lots of wildlife including small and big alligators, bald eagles, giant snails, lots of different birds, turtles and fish.

Captain Harold is very knowledgable and passionate about the environment he shows you and it makes for a really interesting and educational tour. What was also a massive bonus for us is that it was just him and my family of three. Completely excellent.

Here’s another recent review of our fantastic airboat rides:

We (2 adults 2 children) had a trip with Captain Harold, almost 2 hours in the end, we had the best time, we saw lots of birds, gators, did some air-boat dancing, it was fantastic. Harold is a really genuine, easy-going host and very knowlegable too. He was great with the kids, answering all their questions and Yes, it was a bit more expensive than the group tours, but worth every penny. We highly recommend this tour.

We also recieved this email earlier in the week from another satisfied customer:

 Hi Guys,

Jeff here.  Just wanted to thank you both for an extremely enjoyable and informative experience today.  The kids and grandkids haven’t stopped talking about it.  Should any of our friends or relatives vacation in the area, we will most definitely recommend a trip with you.

We thank you both and wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving holiday.

Warmest Regards,

Jeff & Joyce

Thank you for a Fantastic Airboat Adventure!

El Capitán This week Captain Harold received a package in the mail from some former passengers.  Our passengers are the best!  And it’s not the first time we’ve received packages in the mail either… this one, well this one may top even the “Fighting Cock” bourbon that was mailed to Captain Harold.

El Capitán received a t-shirt that said (wait for it)

“PADDLE FASTER, I HEAR BANJOS”

Too funny!  Of course we do hear the line about hearing banjos quite a bit – a minimum of once a week, sometimes more.

Here’s what the card in the package said:

Just a quick note to say thank you for a fantastic adventure.  Both Kara & I had a great time on the boat.

The conversation was fantastic as well.

You’re a stand up guy and I appreciate that.  Definitely look forward to doing it again.  Thank you, Jim Deisler

PS – Saw this shirt & thought of you – Ha Ha

Here’s a photo of Jim and Kara. Unfortunately I have misplaced my camera, so I can’t take a picture of the shirt.  (Ya’ll know I hate that camera, so I really hope it’s gone for good.)

Captain Harold Made our Tour Feel Extra Special!

I received this email and some photos from Aimee – she and her family rode on Spirit of the Swamp last week.  You’ll love the pictures she sent to me as well!

Hello Debi,

Just wanted to thank you and Captain Harold for an awesome time on our first airboat ride. Captain Harold was a great tour guide.

Our daughter Victoria really enjoyed talking on the headset with him. I never saw her talk so much on a tour before.

It was a testament to Captain Harold’s wonderful personality that made our tour feel extra special. We can’t wait to go back and do it again. See ya all soon!   Aimee, Erwin and Victoria

This is hilarious!  Or maybe I am just easily amused.  In either case, this (obviously fake) alligator has a place on the airboat, because a very special little girl (our granddaughter) wanted us to put it on the airboat.  Can you see the cricket in the gator’s mouth?  And another cricket on its back?  Check out the frog getting ready to snack on a cricket.  Too funny!
