Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours

We filmed another airboat video today, and it was really a blast!  I think the entire crew had a great time and got some awesome video.  Bob, the cameraman, had the camera practically on the floor of the front of the airboat and got some fantastic footage of the airboat gliding across the marsh and in the beautiful Dead River. 

Of course we did our 360 degree turns!  On the way back we went through the marsh again, and this time Bob was sitting on the floor in the front with the camera and wanted us to go off the airboat trail.  With fair warning that we were going to get plastered with everything under the sun, off we went! 

Yep, Bob was covered with pollen, and we picked up all sorts of “hitchhikers” frogs, crickets, you name it.  (Let me pause just a minute here and say we wouldn’t take our passengers off the airboat trails, so no worries).   As soon as the video’s finished we’ll post it on the web site for you to enjoy!

Another email from a happy customer!  We meet some really wonderful people on our airboat rides… Craig and Francesca were recently married and here for their honeymoon.  Lucky boy, Jack, got to come along.  Here’s the email I received:

Amazingly… the photo of the mama gator guarding her nest is the ONLY ONE we have of her!  We have several of the gator nest, but mama has been hiding from us!  Click on the photos to make them larger:

Here’s an email I received today from one of our airboat ride passengers – actually this was Bill’s second ride with us!  He lives in the Orlando area and has lots of company visiting, so we hope to see him again soon!

Last week you took myself, my brother and his son on the most wonderful tour we have ever been on.  Great job!!  We spoke about you providing me with some business cards that I could hand out at my work.  I see hundreds of out of town doctors each week and many ask for things to do other than the parks.  I would like to be able to direct them to your business.  Thanks again for sharing your swamp with us.
