Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours

The International Cat Association’s annual cat show was held in Orlando this past weekend and cat lovers from all over the world are in town to show their gorgeous and exotic cats!  We have had several cat breeders ride our airboat from the cat show… word gets around that we’re the best airboat ride in Florida!  MEOW!

Everyone had a wonderful time on the airboat, well of course they would - we’re animal lovers too!

This is a fun time of year to take an airboat ride – baby gators have begun to hatch and emerge from their nests!  They’re so tiny, about 6-8 inches in length and they almost look like little snakes because they are striped in color when they’re newborn. 

But… they are very vulnerable when they’re this small.  Instead of being on the top of the food chain like an adult alligator, they’re on the bottom when born.  Baby gators are eaten by all types of birds, fish, raccoons, you name it.  Mama gator can only do so much to protect her young ones!  In fact the survival rate for baby gators is only about 20%.

This is the time of year for alligator hatchlings – so give us a call and let’s see if we can find some in the wild!
