I got this email from Kelly today, and wanted to share it with you. The McKinney’s are such fantastic people and wonderful friends. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon on the airboat with them. After all, like Captain Harold says – that’s what airboating is all about, friends and family having a great time!

We had a great airboat ride. We saw alligators, turtles & eagles. We saw cows & Cypress trees. We had a fantastic time & our Captain Harold & his wife Debi made the ride very enjoyable.

You know what makes Captain Harold and me happy? We really appreciate it when you do your homework and research the best airboat ride in Florida. We can’t stop grinning because of all the positive comments ya’ll make on the airboat. It keeps us pumped up, so keep them coming!!

· We love it when you tell us you didn’t want to ride on one of those large 20 passenger airboats!

· We love hearing that you made sure not to pick a tourist trap type operation. We are “anti tourist trap” and pride ourselves on keeping it real on each and every tour.

· We like knowing that our headsets with microphones set us apart from the competition. One of our passengers told me that he had previously taken an airboat ride on the St. John ’s River, and not only was our trip more scenic, but that the high tech headsets made the trip 50%-60% better!

· We love hearing that our airboat is prettier than the others. Yeah, we know it, but it’s so nice that you see it too. There’s nothing worse than driving up and seeing some hippy guy with a greasy ponytail in a ratty airboat as your Captain. That kind of thing happens all the time folks, believe me it happens…

I could go on and on, but instead I’ll stop and say thank you for doing your research and choosing Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides!

Our airboat ride was one of the “Highlights” of our Florida trip.  Great memories with good people, Leslie and I both felt like we made new friends. The hospitality we experienced - just doesn’t exist - or so we thought - The Spirit of the Swamp experience is a rare gem!  Keep up the good work!
